Meningococcemia Early Symptoms

Meningococcemia is a rare disease Caused By a bacterial infection with a bacteria called Neisseria Meningitidis and it is a blood stream infection can be transferred from person to another coughing and sneezing.



The early signs are common health signs that is why the medical condition can get worst before knowing that it is what it is, and it can be diagnosed through a blood culture or Skin lesion biopsy or blood clotting tests or  urine culture or CBC may also be implemented as well.



Early symptoms are:
  • headache
  • fever
  • irritability
  • rash with small spots
  • anxiety
  • nausea
Late symptoms are:
  • lethargy
  • patches of bleeding under the skin
  • blood clots
  • shock
The most important early treatment with early diagnostic is to take antibiotic after consulting and checkup and isolation is a part of the treatment because it could be very easy to transmit.
